Zinc is heavily involved in enzyme systems that regulate the early growth stages. It is vital for root system development; photosynthesis; formation of plant growth regulators; and crop stress protection. Uptake and availability of zinc can be negatively affected by cool, wet and overcast conditions early in the growing season. VERDURE seed treatment will provide corn an early zinc supply to promote seed germination as well as early-season plant health and vigor.

N and P are key nutrient components in a corn seed treatment. N helps small corn plants overcome early season N deficiency due to the slow release of nitrogen from organic matter during cold, springtime conditions. Also, some N will enhance P uptake. P is nonmobile in the soil, thus, undeveloped seedling roots have difficulty obtaining the necessary amounts for proper growth. The N & P in VERDURE promotes vigorous root growth & early season plant development.

IBA stimulates the formation of lateral and adventitious roots.

GA controls cell elongation and division. GA also aids in protein synthesis & stimulates phosphate uptake at the roots.

Fulvic acid, as a seed treatment, has three main functions. It binds with molecules harmful to plants, it chelates nutrients beneficial to plants, & it holds 7 times its weight in water.
